The Legend Of Ben Hall is based on a true story in the year 1865. Ben Hall is an infamous bush ranger who’s story is told in true detail. A have to see film which will be released in 2016.
In this film we designed and created all hairdressing, Makeup & Special FX designs and applications. It was set for the year 1865 so designing the hair for that era was a lot of fun. Working alongside my Mum (Deirdre Dobbin) onset was the best experience and memory for me. We have always worked so well as a team. We broke down the script together and the memories, stories and friendships we have created with crew and cast was out of this world – amazing!
In this scene they show men, women & children from a town in NSW. We traveled up in a mini bus with the crew and main cast. It was great to experience the town that Ben hall & others were back in the 1800’s.
On set….. When time is against you jump on a tractor and hold on!!!!!!
